I finally finished all 40 Blippie Purses for my customer this morning around two in the morning. I also, delivered them on my way to work.

{ Work In Progress } Blippie Purse: Construction Ahead...

It's almost 1:30 in the morning and my place is a mess and I'm getting really sleepy. I spent the whole night cutting out alot of pieces on my Craft Robo, that will be used to embellish these Blippie Purses.

I'm laying out all the pieces before I glue them down tomorrow (Friday night) and start decorating them.

I finally finished covering all 40 binder clips and I'm ahead of schedule. Next step, is embellishing it and I'll do that tomorrow night. I'm exhausted!

Ooops, I counted wrong, there's actually 42! I made some extra just in case I screw up.

I manage to get alot done tonight. I got about 14 binder clips fully covered and another 6 last night. Hope to get the other half done in the next two nights. The hardest part comes this Friday and the weekend, when I embellish each and every Blippie Purses.

I better stop shopping and need to finish the 40 Blippie Purses by next week Monday, and I still have taxes to do too!

I bought a few odds 'n ends yesterday and today at Fisher Hawaii because all scrapbook stuff are 25% off.



All the stuff I bought today were 25% off except the Fiskar Non-stick scissor.



Anyway, I started working on the Blippie Purse a few days ago...

Card Project #4: Messin' With Pink...

I made this simple card tonight with the stash I bought over the weekend.

Saturday Stash Shopping Spree!

I spent the whole day shopping for craft supplies.

I got these Stampettes rubber stamps at the Honolulu Gift Fair at Blaisdell Center. Prices ranged from $1.00 to 4.00.



I bought a few things at J's Knicknacks: (Top row: DCWV 12x12 solid glitter cardstock in light blue, white, purple, silver, pink, green and nursery-girl flowers pink (first paper, second row). I also got a couple of regular pattern paper.



More from J's...



And finally tonight, at Barnes & Noble Ala Moana Center, I got a designer paper pack and a magazine.



I just love magazines from the UK, they always pack their magazines with free stuff, unlike American magazines.



I think I'm done shopping for now and I'm so tired.

Topping It Off

Yesterday during my break, I found this at Ross's in Downtown...


(It's a 16x20 SuperBoard in Midnight Granite)

This would be perfect as a table top for my Rig-a-ma-jig, because of its large size, I had to modify my "Rig" again.

(It's nearly finished...the middle section is just temporary until I get another longer pipe. This setup will do for now.)

Anyway, I think I'm done with this. Who knows, it'll get modified again in the future.

Oh wait! I got a better idea...I took off the metal hanger from the hangbar (see fifth photo above) and placed it on the side of my "Rig"...

Last Minute Final Touches...

Looks like I wasn't 100% satisfied with the card I made earlier and needed something to give it some oomph! Instead of starting from scratch, I decided just to add a little color to it.

I just added a strip of Petallics cardstock in Juniper Berry, trimmed the top side with an edger scissor, dabbed chalk ink along the edges and doodled in the dots with a Gelly Roll Stardust pen in Sky-star.

Here it is, the new and improved "Whitemares & Daydreams" fka "White Nights, Golden Daze" Birthday card...haha!

Don't come too close, I might bite...

I better remember to mail the two birthday cards I made tomorrow.

Card Project #3: White Nights, Golden Daze

I made a new birthday card in the wee hours of the morning (I should've been in bed by now). It's all in white and topped on an Iced White metallic cardstock. The background was designed in Illustrator, cut out on the Craft Robo and rounded the corners with a corner punch. Then I embossed it with the Cuttlebug folder and dotted the outside stroke of the number 40 with Stickles. I also, added a white ribbon.

Photo Moments: Honolulu Daijayama Matsuri

Here are couple shots from the 14th Annual Honolulu Festival grand parade, which happened last weekend (March 16, 2008).

Daijayama is the Fire Spitting Dragon from Fukuoka Prefecture in Kyushu. Each summer the Daijayama Summer Festival attracts over 400,000 spectators, celebrating an old legend dating back over a thousand years. Dragon floats parade through the main streets in Fukuoka Prefecture each July manned by thousands of people. Folklore has it that the dragon is a water god, blessing the farmlands with water and children with good health. The Honolulu Festival will feature this towering dragon float measuring 20 feet in height and 33 feet in length at the Grand Parade. It will be manned by over 200 people. Fireworks will light up the skies of Waikiki as the performers dance to the drums and flutes of traditional Japan.

Scor-Pal And Other Stash

Went craft shopping early this morning because there's another parade (second one this week) in Waikiki before they shut down Kalakaua Avenue (main strip into Waikiki) again this afternoon. It's going to be a traffic mess getting into Waikiki.

Anyway, I finally got the Scor-Pal...



I also bought more papers and cardstocks, G Studio (Hampton Art) rubber stamps and DMD clear stamps, Stickles and an Inkssentials Opaque Pen in White. I purchased these items at J's Knickacks and Craft Supply.



Yesterday, I also bought some stuff at Marukai 99 Superstore. Alot of the items in store range from $ .99 to 1.99. I miss the days when they first opened as a 99-cent store and most of the stuff are made in Japan, now all the products are made in China and Korea.



I got this Speedball Brayer at Fisher Hawaii on Thursday...



I'm debating if I should go check out the Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana'ole Celebrattion Parade, it's just a block from my place...hmmm.

Handmade with Aloha Stamp

I bought this "Handmade with Aloha" rubber stamp by Stampettes at Walmart tonight. This is perfect for stamping the back of my cards and projects I make.



I also got some other stuff too...



I still need to get a birthday stamp, hopefully tomorrow.
