Topping It Off

Yesterday during my break, I found this at Ross's in Downtown...

(It's a 16x20 SuperBoard in Midnight Granite)

This would be perfect as a table top for my Rig-a-ma-jig, because of its large size, I had to modify my "Rig" again.

Here's a before photo...

And after...

(It's nearly finished...the middle section is just temporary until I get another longer pipe. This setup will do for now.)

Here's what it looks like with the top on...

I also modified the hangbar...

Here's a great idea...

Anyway, I think I'm done with this. Who knows, it'll get modified again in the future.

UPDATE!
Oh wait! I got a better idea...I took off the metal hanger from the hangbar (see fifth photo above) and placed it on the side of my "Rig"...

Close-up shot...

Until next time...

Modified my Rig-a-ma-jig again

I decided that I needed to add an extra shelf and widen the shelf-top. I went to City Mills to get more PVC joints and a pipe.

Finally, it's done!

I used a piece of coroplast (corrugated plastic sheet) as a temporary shelf-top...

I used jumbo paperclips for the hooks...

I found something better. They're called "Clip Rings" for hanging curtains, which I found tonight while looking around in Walmart.

(Defect) The only one that couldn't fit :(

Here's what it looks like after sliding the rings in...perfect fit!

How cool is that?

All Pau (Finished)

I finally finished my project, which I now called the "Rig-a-ma-jig"...

I still need to put in a few acrylic shelves, but for now, I'll be using thick pieces of cardboard.

Here's my little craft area...

Building Project Continues...

Today, I went to Home Depot and got a long piece of PVC pipe. After I left the place, I realized that I needed one more but was too lazy to go back.

After work, got home and started working on my project with the pipe I purchased. For the most part, I finished the main shelving where my 3 scrapbook cases will be housed. I also decided that instead of building the additional shelvings on the bottom, I'll build it on the top-half.

So here it is (75% done)...

I hope to get this all finished tomorrow.

What Am I Building?

What's this? A gardening project?

Not really. I'm building somekind of shelving for all my scrapbook cases and supplies. I bought all these PVC joints at Home Depot and Diamond Head Sprinkler today between breaks at work.

My secret plans to rule the world....just kidding...lol.

I started to build the railings which will house the scrapbook cases and so far, it's looking good. Here's what it looks like...it' still not finish and I need to get longer PVC pipes tomorrow to finish the frame and shelvings...

I love building with PVC pipes, I did a couple for my computers, many years ago...

Oh yeah, I built those two brainy, towering beauties aka "the PC". I have a third one but it's camera shy.
